1990
Chevrolet Corvette - This car
is a 6 speed model coupe, there were only 8100 6 speeds placed in the corvettes
for 1990 out of about 24,000 produced,
that includes coupes and convertibles, basically only about 34% of the
Corvettes were 6 speed equipped. It is also optioned out with driver and
passengers power sport black leather seats, a tinted glass roof,
Delco/Bose AM/FM Cass/CD premium sound system. Electronic climate control
heating/air conditioning. Heated mirrors. This is a low mileage Corvette,
with 93k original miles. The first week I got it a few months ago I
brought it to the local Chevrolet dealer to get a new intake manifold
gasket installed, and some old dried hoses replaced, oil and filter, and
coolant all changed then too. It also had a new AC condenser installed and
recharged the air conditioning system. Just over a grand for all that work
at the dealer that week.

A new set of chrome C6 Z06 Corvette 17 x 9.5 wheels
were just purchased and installed with 275/40/17 W rated (169 MPH). The next higher rating above Z rated
(149 MPH), the ride and handling is very nice. Not to mention they look
killer. The car had a set of repro chrome ZR1 wheels when I got it,
they are cool looking but I prefer the chrome C6 Z06 Corvette rims. I also
recently got 4 new high performance drilled and slotted rotors that I
installed about a month ago, A recent extensive tune up with H.D.
performance ignition parts. The Corvette came with a cat back Borla
exhaust very nice, the right side got hit lightly and bent a little.

This is my third Corvette in the past 5 years. I have had 3 C4's all of
them black with black interior, and all of them 6 speed manual
transmissions. One was an LT1 300 horsepower, the other two were L98 Vette
engines factory rated at stock with 245 Horsepower, My first one was a
1989, that was the first year that they had the 6 speed sticks in them.
Then I had a 1992 which was the first year for the return of the LT1 in
them, and now this one.

These 17 inch Chrome ZR1 wheels are now back on this 1990 Corvette since I
just bought a 1994 383 stroker LT1 Competition Yellow 6 speed Corvette
Coupe, two days ago. The chrome 2006 Z06 wheels and the cross drilled and
slotted rotors are now on the new
Corvette. This 90 coupe is for sale for $7,800.
Some speed engineering going on here. |

I have new "FastCoolCars.com"
vinyl decals. They measure about 1 inch tall by 10 inches long. In White,
bright Yellow, bright Red, and Lime Green, and Chrome. They are high quality, great
looking decals, They are pictured above in red on the sides of the rear
window. If you would
like one to place on your fast cool ride, just send me an email. I've got
about 200 left. I would like a picture sent with the decal on your ride,
and I will probably make a section of cool cars with them on them. |
