1965 Chevy II Nova custom 2-door station wagon - For Sale

1965 Chevy II Nova custom 2-door station wagon for sale or trade for Mopar or Studebaker.
This is one of one as far as I know. The Chevrolet factory never produced a 2-door Chevy II wagon. I have never seen one before or since I bought it. The conversion to 2-door is obviously professionally done. All four small doors were removed, the front jambs enlarged, I assume the back door skins were transformed into body panels, and larger 2-door sedan doors were installed. The car was bought sans drive train, but with frames tied, front discs, 4:56 w/mini-spool, special headers and oil pan. The steering interferes with a stock oil pan which has been improperly notched (when turning right, only). The motor is 4-bolt Corvette 350 +.030, all new except intake & carb. Align bored and decked, forged flat-tops, reconditioned rods, steel crank, World cast iron heads with swirl polished SS valves 2.02 / 1.64, 72 cc chambers, 120 mm runners, Stage III hydraulic cam, matched lifters, double roller timing chain, 780 double pumper, new fuel pump, alternator, starter. Kenny Hinkle motor out of Sebring, Florida. Fresh TH 350 out of a race car. Frankly, the motor is a bit much for the street, it's a handful when nailed. It is basically done, just needs dolled up a little bit, some tinkering. The oil pan is wrong, as I mentioned, and the custom driveshaft vibrates at road speed. Needs attention. Car is in primer. I believe it is worth what I have in it...$5500. Or trade for Mopar 1961-1965 2-door of equal value. Or any Studebaker of equal value. Delivery possible in Florida/south Georgia for fee. - Email Me
