1950 Ford F1 Pick-up - This is Clay Allen's "Priscilla", mid 10 second all Ford drag race truck.  Priscilla is powered by a +.030, 460 Ford. Internally the engine has a lightened and balanced stock cast crank, H-beam rods, Oregon Cam Grinders camshaft, 3/8" pushrods, Crane Gold roller rockers, and Probe pistons w/gapless ring sets. Compression ratio is 13 1/2 to 1. The heads are mildly ported Edelbrock Performer RPM aluminum castings. Valves came with the heads and the valve springs are Oregon Cam Grinders over the counter pieces. Induction is an old Weiand tunnel ram w/dual 660cfm Holley carburetors still running metering plates on the secondaries.  The driveshaft is a custom built unit. The rear end is a stock width 9in Ford with 5.88 gears on a spool. The axles have been in the truck for many years. Rear suspension is comprised of stock leafs, homebuilt housing floaters, ladder bars, and housing brace. Front suspension and steering are stock. The brakes are stock Ford drums all around. The truck has run a best of 10.51 @ 124.
