ONE A KIND AND ONLY ONE IN THE WORLD! This car is the corvette inspired 'Speed Racer' vehicle. This car is every Speed Racer fans' dream and causes such a great deal of nostalgia just be looking at it. This is a car collector's dream. If car collecting is your thing and you enjoy Speed Racer you do not have to look further. This is a one of a kind car that was won during an MTV contest for Speed Racer. 10 guests including myself were flown to L.A. to watch the world premier of Speed Racer at the NOKIA Theater from April 25th to April 27th. Immediately after the premier we were taken on the roof top to participate in a remote control car race to win the Mach 5. I happened to win by .40 seconds. Pictures of the premier can be found here as well. This was not only a breathtaking event but a blessing that was bestowed upon me that I now want to bestow upon someone else. This amazing vehicle was built particularly for this contest and I now have the pleasure of selling it to someone else. You can bring a piece of Speed Racer, and L.A., home as I did. It is a Corvette C5 with a C2 body with double overdrive, active handling system, custom graphics, custom leather interior, and Bose sound system. It is a 5.7L engine V8 MFI. The car looks very similar to the actual Mach 5. The look has this sense of realism due to the "Speed Racer Signature Edition" paint and pinstripe design. The rims are custom made as well and look fantastic on the vehicle. The buzz on this movie is very high so having the car would only heighten your own enthusiasm. The car was also built by Spike TV. The car was rebuilt from scratch with custom parts. It is a '63 body with a C5 body inside. It's a new/old combination so-to-speak. The results are breathtaking and very sweet. It is a salvaged frame that has been completely rebuilt from scratch. The title has 31 records. The car was built from a totaled car to what it is now. Although it is salvaged, the car does speak for itself. Once you see the car you will forget that it was rebuilt from a totaled vehicle. This car has not been driven by me AT ALL. The mileage came with the car as is. The quality is still there and the mileage does not hinder it.
