The Saturn Sky is the first ever sports car from the Saturn marquee of American automaker General Motors. It was released in the first quarter of 2006 as a 2007 model. It uses the Kappa automobile platform shared with the Pontiac Solstice and Opel GT. The Sky concept was shown at the 2005 North American International Auto Show, with the production version following at the 2006 show. It is built at GM's Wilmington, Delaware plant, alongside the Solstice and the Opel GT. The Sky features 18 inch (457 mm) wheels and a 2.4 L Ecotec LE5 straight-4 engine that produces 177 hp (132 kW) as well as an all-new straight-4 2.0 L direct injected turbocharged engine that makes 260 hp (194 kW). Both five-speed manual and automatic transmissions are available.

2009 Pontiac Solstice GXP Coupe - The coupe’s roof is fixed aft of the B-pillars, with side windows and a rear lift glass for access to the cargo area. For drivers still wanting an open-air experience, the coupe also features a removable roof panel that can be stored in the cargo area. The roof’s structure was strengthened with additional support elements, including an aluminum roof bow attached with aluminum brackets. The hardtop also includes a lightweight sheet molding compound cover affixed to a rigid aluminum frame for additional lightweight support.

2010 Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione ‘GTA’ - Alfa Romeo will release a special version of its 8C Competizione supercar in 2010 to mark the 100th anniversary of the company’s founding in Milan, Italy. The new car will simply be called the 8C GTA and is expected to be unveiled on June 24, 2010. The special edition model will be a lighter and more powerful version of the current 8C Competizione, and will be available in both coupe and convertible variants, reports Automotive News. GTA, which stands for Gran Turismo Alleggerita (Italian for a lighter grand tourer), is the name Alfa Romeo uses for its special edition performance models and is also expected to appear on a lightened version of the new Mi. to hatch.

The Spada Codatronca is the creation of designer Ercole Spada from Spada Concept and Italian tuning shop UK Garage. Its chassis is based on that used in the Chevrolet Corvette, with suspension-systems, engine and other mechanicals enhanced by the tuning shop. The supercar will be offered in three variations, the first is the TS “Sport Tourism” with 512hp, followed by TSV “Fast Sport Tourism” with 513hp and finally the TSS “Sport Super Tourism” flagship. This beast boasts a 700hp and 950Nm output and manages to reach 100km/h from rest in less than 3 seconds and can reach a top speed of 355km/h.
